EFI Cretaprint participates in a ceramic digital printing conference in Brazil

EFI Cretaprint has participated in the “Ceramic Decoration” course organized by CCB (Centro de Inovaçäo Tecnológica em Cerâmica-CITEC/CCB) with Professor Dr. Anselmo Ortega Boschi, coordinator of Laboratório de Revestimientos Cerâmicos (LaRC),  chief editor of Cerâmica Industrial, Technical Assistant of ABRACOLOR and coordinator of Área de Cerâmica do DEMa- de la Universidade Federal de São Carlos – UFSCar.

The course was held from January, 16th to January, 20th in Criciúma, southern part of the Brazilian ceramic industry. During these sessions we see a comparative view of different decorative techniques used in the ceramic industry, focusing into the latest techniques, principles of operation, the effect of the variables used in the process and the characteristics of inks used.

This conference was atended by Lutzia Ortiz Miralles, head of Product Design Unit of ITC; Vicente Sanz Solana, head of nanotechnology and Professor of Chemical Engineering, ITC; Marcos Serafin, coordinator of CCB Desing, CCB; and Roberto Cortes, Laboratory Manager of EFI Cretaprint.

Conclusions, as well as participation in this event, were very positive and enriching for the Brazilian ceramic industry. From EFI Cretaprint, we thank the warm welcome and care during our stay in Criciúma. We hope to return to work in future conferences.
