Cretalab laboratory is designed so that anyone can manufacture its own Digital Rollers. The investment is recuperated with the savings obtained in time and costs reduction in manufacturing rollers. Manufacturing rotary printing rolls involves the following phases
and equipment:

Design Engraving

Virgin Digital Rollers are set up in the engraving unit of the Cretalab equipment. The design is engraved on the rollers by means of ultraviolet light.

Washing and drying

After having passed the adequate period of time for engraving, the Digital Rollers are introduced first of all in the washing unit of the Cretalab and then into the drying unit in order to eliminate residues generated during the engraving process.

Finishing

The surface of the Digital Rollers is treated in another additional Cretalab unit with a combination of ultraviolet light and heat, which gives it the optimum finish they need for their use.
