Inktensity of colour
With CretaPrinter more intense colours are posible. The technology used in CretaPrinter makes it possible to work with inks of up to 100 cps of viscosity at 40ºC, compared to the 20 cps of current systems. This fact makes CretaPrinter the first existing solution for working with inks with a higher content of oxide colouring particles, and consequently, with higher colour intensity inks.
CretaPrinter has been the first system to arrive on the market. which, besides working in binary mode can also work in grey scale mode.
CretaPrinter is capable to work with drops of different volume (grey scale mode), while in the rest of systems the drop is always generated with the same size (binary mode). As a result, pixelized (separated dots) images are avoided, and a uniform colour degradation is obtained.
Example: 300 x 300 dpi (Binary)

300 x 300 dpi (Grey Scale)
A work carried out at 300x300 dpi in gray scale mode with 7 levels would be the equivalent in binary mode of a resolution of more than 900x900 dpi
The real production time of CretaPrinter is greater because of the fact that it does not need to stop frequently in order to eliminate the air generated in the process of drop formation.
With inkjet technology, when the drop that we want to apply to the ceramics piece is generated, a quantity of air equal to the volume of the drop generated is introduced. In current systems, this air must be eliminated by means of purgings. This makes it necessary to continually be stopping production.
The system of recirculation used in CretaPrinter makes it possible to eliminate the air which is generated at the same time that it is printing; for this reason CretaPrinter does not need so many production stops to keep on working.
The ink is constantly in movement, which makes CretaPrinter the best solution for intensive industrial use in terms of colour, resolution, and printing productivity.
