Digital Roller is a tile printing system integrated by elements, which have been specifically designed to work together in order to save in production costs.

Digital Roller: the rotary printing roller

Hollow cylinder developed by Cretaprint and made out of flexible and photosensitive polymeric material. Its use as a tile printing roll generates important cost savings:

  • Its useful life is longer than that of other types of rollers. Polymeric material has a greater resistance to friction than other materials such as silicone.
  • It requires less storage space. A Digital Roller can be folded to occupy a fourth of the space of a rigid silicone roller.

Vac Roller: the supporting roller

It is the cylinder that serves as a support for the Digital Roller. It is specifically designed to achieve a perfect adhesion between both elements by means of a vacuum effect. Each Vac Roller is made out of a solid aluminium nucleus that guarantees its durability.

The physical separation between Vac Roller (support roller without design) and Digital Roller (printing roller with design) saves costs. One single Vac Roller can be re-used indefinitely with any Digital Roller.
